Yoga Therapy with Vicki

As a registered nurse working in health promotion, education and prevention at the hospital, Vicki has seen many patients with a range of ailments over the years. Persevering through recovery and rehabilitation, “I knew there must be more I could do to help these people, and indeed, help them earlier” Vicki says. “I did this by offering alternative and complimentary therapies to support their care plans. I followed my calling and my passion for yoga and became a registered Yoga Therapist in 2016.” The results have been overwhelmingly successful.

“In my current nursing role, I introduced Yoga Therapy practices into the Health Service I work for. Working alongside other allied health professionals as a team, we support clients with complex chronic health conditions and assist them to reach their health goals with a holistic approach”.

Vicki is now taking her expertise and branching out with her own Yoga Therapy Studio where she specialises in one-to-one yoga addressing your specific requirements. Vicki carefully designs individual programs tailored to suit your needs, and is there to support and mentor you along your journey. Her approach and philosophy of self empowering others is complementary to western medicine.

Vicki’s studio is on her majestic farm in Echuca Village. The tranquil scenery makes it an ideal location to delve into your yoga practice.

About Yoga Therapy

Yoga Therapy provides a holistic and proactive approach to wellness. It involves a variety of yoga practices which together seek to improve overall health and well being. The yogic tools used therapeutically are asana (the physical postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), relaxation and meditation.

Everyone is different and no single approach or practice will be appropriate for all. People have different strengths and weaknesses, different degrees of overall health and fitness, and different levels of experience with yoga.

How is Yoga Therapy different from yoga?
